cherry tomato bomb
this is my favorite!!! I painted it partly because I was wondering "but what if there were veggies...." and also because pink + red are so pretty together and I LOVE how it turned out.
the plants featured in this painting are sunflowers, peonies, chamomile and cherry tomatoes. I added a little glitter to the centers of the sunflowers so they didn't blend in with the black backgrounds too much. This is painted directly on a thrifted frame which has been attached to a board. this acrylic painting has been varnished and is ready to hang. This painting is just under 12x14"
this painting is designed to remind you that even in the darkest time, good things are blooming. there is always something positive to cling to--a light in the darkness. something to keep you hoping. my son, Henry, says they are like neon signs--shining in the dark š
please note that the vibrant colors and also the black are surprisingly hard to photograph!! If you are seeing little white dots or things that don't look right--its just my photography light reflecting off of the black.
Ā please note I do my absolute best to make the photos match the real-life paintings, but it is a challenge with my vibrant color palette! Most of the time, paintings look much more vibrant in real life, but just be aware that there may be discrepancies between what you see on screen and the actual product.
