spring is coming soon I swear
daffodils remind me that spring is on its way! literal (literal? or figurative? idk) light in the darkness.
this painting is designed to remind you that even in the darkest time, good things are blooming. there is always something positive to cling to--a light in the darkness. something to keep you hoping. my son, Henry, says they are like neon signs--shining in the dark š
Loosely based on real-life plants, I hope you enjoy this sparkling bit of hope!
please note that the vibrant colors and also the black are surprisingly hard to photograph!!
also the lower left corner of this paper is bent. it does not affect the look of the painting but I thought you would like to know! I seem to be having a problem not bending the lower left corner! idk why.
also I feel the need to mention that there is background texture that can be noticed from certain angles. this is not a print. it is a painting made by a human and sometimes humans paint over stuff :) I don't think this is a negative but if you are used to prints it might surprise you!!
This is an acrylic painting on paper 12 x 16". It has been varnished. For reference, it is pictured in a 19x15" frame (not included) and matted to 10.5 x 13.5, which I think is kind of small for this painting.
Ā please note I do my absolute best to make the photos match the real-life paintings, but it is a challenge with my vibrant color palette! Most of the time, paintings look much more vibrant in real life, but just be aware that there may be discrepancies between what you see on screen and the actual product.
