this painting is designed to remind you that even in the darkest time, good things are blooming.  there is always something positive to cling to--a light in the darkness.  something to keep you hoping.  my son, Henry, says they are like neon signs--shining in the dark šŸ˜

Loosely based on real-life plants-- I hope you enjoy this sparkling bit of hope!  It also holds a callback the aquaponic vase my mom had with her Betta fish named Rocky.  I like to believe that this is the *perfect* environment for a goldfish to thrive.

please note that the vibrant colors and also the black are surprisingly hard to photograph!!  It is much more vibrant + nuanced IRL.

This is an acrylic painting on cradled hardboard, 8x8".  The sides also have flowers painted on them.  It has been varnished and is ready to hang.

  • Ā please note I do my absolute best to make the photos match the real-life paintings, but it is a challenge with my vibrant color palette! Most of the time, paintings look much more vibrant in real life, but just be aware that there may be discrepancies between what you see on screen and the actual product.
