do these flowers match my nails?
this painting is designed to remind you that even in the darkest time, good things are blooming. there is always something positive to cling to--a light in the darkness. something to keep you hoping. my son, Henry, says they are like neon signs--shining in the dark š
Loosely based on real-life plants, I hope you enjoy this sparkling bit of hope!
this particular one is titled "do these flowers match my nails" because I will never forget the neon red nails my mom was fond of back in the day :) it does not photograph well, but the color is beautiful + vibrant in real life. Also black is surprisingly hard to photograph!!
This is an acrylic painting on TEXTURED sketchbook paper 12 x 16". There are lots of bumps of texture on this paper as you can see in the images. It has been varnished. For reference, it is pictured in a 19x15" frame (not included) and matted to 10.5 x 13.5".
Ā please note I do my absolute best to make the photos match the real-life paintings, but it is a challenge with my vibrant color palette! Most of the time, paintings look much more vibrant in real life, but just be aware that there may be discrepancies between what you see on screen and the actual product.
