bay of silence!
did you know you can watch beach cams from all over the world? just do a Google and you'll find so many fun beaches to watch + be inspired to paint from.
this one is of the bay of silence in Italy, and I actually did quite a few paintings of it because I was so infatuated with the scene.. This painting is 12 x 12" on paper. Painted with a variety of wild colors + layers of pencil + watercolor media + finished with pops of oil paint; it showcases the fun + vibrant nature of summer on the beach.
please note I do my absolute best to make the photos match the real-life paintings, but it is a challenge with my vibrant color palette! Most of the time, paintings look much more vibrant in real life, but just be aware that there may be discrepancies between what you see on screen and the actual product.
