hope in a handbasket is a part of my continuing to expand hope collection, inspired by life, my mom, and all the dreams I have for all of us, for the future. this particular painting is covered in mixed media marks, drippy-drips, and collaged with hand-drawn tissue paper.
This is painted on a wooden board 16x20. Painting is sealed with varnish and wired for hanging. As always, please bear in mind that its impossible to be completely accurate with the photography colors but I did my best to get as close to irl as possible.
please note I do my absolute best to make the photos match the real-life paintings, but it is a challenge with my vibrant color palette! Most of the time, paintings look much more vibrant in real life, but just be aware that there may be discrepancies between what you see on screen and the actual product.
